Why should I apply to join SEED?
If you are selected to join the SEED program, you will be offered…

  • Paid performance opportunities at venues and events in South East Queensland

  • Access to monthly workshops and meetups

  • A 50+ page music industry info book (including exercises, checklists, resource suggestions and an industry contact list)

  • Media coverage (e.g. street press or radio)

  • … and who knows what else might pop up!

Applications close at midnight on Sunday 27 October.

What do I need to do to apply?
You need to submit 3x recordings of original songs and a business plan that outlines why you want to join SEED, your music goals for the next 12 months and intended strategies for achieving those goals.

I am a Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University student, can I apply to be part of SEED?
Yes. In 2020, we are opening applications up to all Queensland Conservatorium students. You no longer have to have a Popular Music major to qualify.

I study at Griffith University, but am not a Queensland Conservatorium student. Can I apply to be part of SEED?
No. At this stage, SEED is only open to students enrolled or about to graduate from the Queensland Conservatorium. No external applicants will be selected.
