Does music make you giddy with joy? Do you daydream about getting calluses from your guitar, or fancy staying up until the wee hours mixing your next hit in the studio?
Does your heart swell when you hear the soundtrack in films, or maybe you secretly enjoy writing advertising jingles that will take over the world? Or perhaps the idea of organising epic dance music festivals is more your cup of tea?
If you answered yes to any of those questions - this might just interest you.
As of 2018, you now have the opportunity to study three contemporary streamlined majors at the Queensland Conservatorium's Popular Music program:
- Music, Sound and Vision
- Music Industry
No matter which major you choose, you will graduate as a ‘portfolio’ musician - combining diverse employment opportunities in performing, songwriting, recording, event coordination, business management and more.
For those who don't know, SEED is an initiative of the Popular Music program at the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University. All of the musicians we represent and promote through this page are either current students or alumni from our course.
If you're interested to find out more about studying with us, visit the Popular Music website or email firstname.lastname@example.org
