Highlights of 2017

It's hard to know where to begin... 2017 has been a rather epic year for us so we thought we'd take this opportunity to reflect back on all the good times.

We released SEED Volume 6.

...and apparently you liked it, because the tracks were streamed more than 2,380 times! If you're late to the party, you can still download the album for *FREE* via our Music page.

We organised lots of gigs for our artists - 82 to be precise!

To celebrate the launch of our new album, we hosted two concert series in Queen Street Mall in Brisbane (thanks City Sounds!) and at NightQuarter on the Gold Coast.

In addition, we organised performances for our artists at The Arts Centre Gold Coast, Miami Marketta and the Mudgeeraba Show.

Phew - no wonder we're exhausted!

We collaborated with our pals at the Queensland College of Art.

Throughout the year, we paired up our artists with students from the Queensland College of Art (QCA). They took some beautiful promotional photos of our artists (see the full highlight reel here).

In September, a group of QCA students showcased their photography as part of an end of year event we hosted at Miami Marketta.

We also listened to a bunch of fresh new tunes.

Aside from SEED Volume 6, some of the other releases we enjoyed this year included tracks by AUSTEN, Caligula's Horse and Benny D Williams.

To keep in the loop with new music from our artists, make sure you're following our "SEED Jukebox" playlist on Spotify.

We cheered on as some of our artists won awards and played epic shows.

Some of our personal highlights this year were when Tesla Cøils won the 'Break Out Artist of the Year Award' at the Gold Coast Music Awards. Oh, and remember when AUSTEN got to perform on the big stage at Splendour in the Grass?! So proud.

And now, it's holiday time...

...but not for long! We'll be back in action early next year with some great new artists and a new album to share. Until then, we hope your Christmas and New Years is full of love, laughter and lively music! ;)

Best wishes,

The SEED Team
