...and just like that, our 2018 concert series at NightQuarter has come to an end. We've been feeling emotional - and to be honest, we've also been experiencing some pretty intense funnel cake withdrawals over the past few days. However, these highlights from Friday night have cheered us up a little bit. Hopefully they can do the same for you!
Last week was a busy one for our pals at Twelve Past Midnight. On Saturday 29 July, they performed at music industry conference Little Bigsound and then two days later they dropped a surprise mini EP on Bandcamp! With TPM kicking so many goals lately, we decided to catch up with the band to get an insight into their creative process and see what's next on their agenda.
Once upon a time, there was a grand music venue called NightQuarter. For five epic weeks, bands from the Queensland Conservatorium's SEED project battled the Gold Coast highway to make their way to the venue and charm audiences from wide and far on the main stage. Each Friday night, people from far and wide came to the venue and danced merrily, sang along and ate monstrous feasts of funnel cakes and tornado potatoes. But - all good things must come to an end. Luckily, we captured the highlights on camera!
